Honouring a Visionary Leader on International MSME Day

On the occasion of International MSME Day, 27th June 2025, the Industries Department, Government of Kerala proudly honoured Shri. K J Jacob, Chairman of ABTEC Ltd, for his exemplary contributions to entrepreneurship and the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector.

Shri. K J Jacob was felicitated for his visionary leadership, relentless commitment to innovation and his pivotal role in building ABTEC into a pioneering force in the field of biosciences and sustainable agriculture. His efforts have not only created employment opportunities and fostered local development but have also set a benchmark for MSMEs across the state.

The award was formally presented by Shri. Francis George, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, in the presence of Shri. Rakesh V R, General Manager – District Industries Centre and Shri. Dileep Kumar, President, KSSIA, Kottayam. This solemn ceremony was attended by senior officials from the Industries Department, Government representatives, industry peers and well-wishers.

This recognition is a testament to our Chairman’s dedication, perseverance and passion for inclusive growth and his values that continue to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs in Kerala and beyond.
