ABTEC Celebrates Onam with Team Spirit, Fun and Tradition!
ABTEC celebrated the vibrant and joyous festival of Onam, fostering team spirit and bonding through a series of engaging events. The celebration was not only a reflection of the rich traditions but also an opportunity for every member of the ABTEC family to come together, regardless of their role and share in the festivities.
A Day Filled with Fun, Games, and Traditional Feasts
The day kicked off with a series of lively games, which were organized entirely by our team. Members from all departments, including senior management, participated enthusiastically in the fun filled activities. Some of the standout events included:
- Sundarikku Oru Pottu Thodal: A traditional game that brought out the competitive spirit and a lot of laughs among the team.
- Eating Bittergourd: An interesting twist to the celebrations that challenged participants to embrace the bitterness of the vegetable an experience everyone fondly remembers.
- Chair Play: A classic fun game that had everyone on the edge of their seats (literally!)
The day was filled with laughter, fun and friendly competition, making it a memorable experience for all. The highlight of the games was the amazing talent displayed by our colleagues, including some unexpected singers who turned the event into a mini talent show. It was incredible to discover the hidden talents within the team and we were delighted to witness the performances!
Traditional Onam Sadhya: A Feast for the Senses
True to Onam tradition, a grand Onam Sadhya was organized, with an array of delicious vegetarian dishes prepared in the authentic Kerala style. The meal was a gastronomic delight, featuring a variety of flavors and textures, including the famous payasam that everyone eagerly awaited. The sadhya not only celebrated the richness of Kerala’s culinary heritage but also allowed everyone to indulge in a traditional feast that brought a sense of togetherness and joy.
Recognition and Prizes
The fun culminated with a prize distribution ceremony, where the winners of various games were recognized for their participation and enthusiasm. It was a heart warming moment, as every participant walked away with a smile and a token of appreciation.
