ABTEC Strengthens Labs with Brookfield Viscometer

Agro Bio Tech Research Centre Ltd. (ABTEC) has further strengthened its analytical and quality-control capabilities with the installation of a Brookfield Viscometer at its laboratory.

Viscosity is an important physical property for a wide range of formulations, including home-care products, personal-care formulations, agricultural inputs, bio-based products, liquid fertilizers and other research formulations. Accurate viscosity measurement helps in understanding product flow behaviour, consistency, stability and batch-to-batch uniformity.

The newly installed Brookfield Viscometer enables ABTEC to carry out precise and reproducible viscosity measurements under controlled laboratory conditions. The facility will support product development, formulation optimization, quality assessment and research activities undertaken at ABTEC.

The addition of this advanced analytical instrument further enhances ABTEC’s commitment to scientific research, quality assurance and also provide testing support to industry, academic institutions and researchers, while strengthening its capabilities in green chemistry, biochemistry and sustainable product development.
