Accountant

Position: Accountant.

Location: Kottayam, Kerala.

Role Overview

We are looking for an Accountant, to lead and strengthen our finance function. This role requires a hands-on professional who can manage end-to-end accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance, and provide strategic financial insights to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely GST filing and statutory compliance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Monitor budgets and conduct financial analysis & forecasting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure audit readiness.
• Identify cost saving opportunities and improve financial efficiency.
• Build, mentor and lead the accounting team.

Key Requirements

• Strong expertise in accounting and budgeting.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, taxation and compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally software.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Proven experience in team handling and leadership.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Commerce (M.Com or equivalent)
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
