Rambutan is a tropical fruit known for its hairy, spiny skin and sweet, juicy flesh. It thrives in warm, humid climates with temperatures between 22–35°C. Well-drained loamy soil with good organic matter is ideal for its cultivation. Rambutan trees require consistent watering and moderate shade when young. The fruit is rich in vitamin C, iron, and antioxidants. It is widely consumed fresh, in salads, or as a dessert ingredient. Rambutan cultivation supports rural economies in tropical regions. Proper pruning and pest management ensure high yields, and the tree begins fruiting within 3–5 years of planting.
